Evie finished her American Championship today under judge Mrs. Stephanie Seabrook Hedgepath at the Lakeland Winter Haven shows. I’m quite proud of my spoiled duck dog, she is only 14 months old! A special thank you and congratulations to Eve’s breeders/co-owners, Eve is the 5th champion out of Ch. Cumberland’s Pool of Jetstream CGC!

Lake City Results

Took Eve out to the show in Lake City this weekend. She showed wonderful despite the extreme weather (HOT). She didn’t do anything on Saturday but took Winners and Best of Winners for another point on Sunday under Mr. Buxton. We haven’t been to a show in 3 months so I’m very proud of her!

I had a light show this weekend, only one dog to show! No clients just my puppy.

Saturday – 10/10/2009
Eve – 1/1

Sunday – 10/11/2009
Eve – 1/W/BOW (1pt)

Now Eve is off with her young breeder Lindsay to the Toller Nationals this coming weekend! They should do wonderful together!

We have a 15 week old male puppy available from my Nalu x Bundy litter. Would make a wonderful pet. Excellent for Performance, Companion, Hunting or Dock Diving events. Available on a Spay/Neuter contract. Well socialized, good with other dogs & cats, and currently being crate trained.

Nalu’s fun Weekend!

It all began Saturday when Nalu joined her fellow Florida Chessie friends for a day of Dock Diving. We meet at the wonderful Courteous Canine facility in Luz, FL. This was the first time Nalu had a chance to jump off a regulation dock, she reach 13-14 ft. Not to shabby!!

The next day Nalu had a wonderful day at the Beach in Cape Coral with her young Human cousins playing Frisbee and just enjoying the sun and surf. This was her first time at a beach (mom’s fault), she had a blast with all the people around ther. Later she got some great Cuban style BBQ leftovers! Next time we’ll get Eve and some of the babies to join her at the beach.

New Champion at Offshore. Ch. Kelin’s Wicked Siren finished her championship at the West Palm Beach shows in July under Mr. Joseph Gregory. Bonnie is the 3rd champion from my first litter to complete her championship and they are just over two years old.

I’ve always wanted a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever in my Chessie pack and in April Eve came to me from my good friends Carol & Lindsay Siflinger of Jetstream Tollers.

Jetstream’s Night Before Christmas or “Eve” is a joy and fit right into the Chessie pack! She was already a bed dog the second she got home!

2008 Official WPG Standings

Hairy was taking a break from the show ring in 2008 while mom played with Bundy. However Hairy decided to come out and play for 4 weekends finishing 2008 #4 (CC) Wirehaired Pointing Griffon All-Breed, again all Owner/Handled. He also took another BOB at the Supported Entry following the Nationals in Maryland.

Hairy is such a special dog, he has been ranked in the top 20 for 4 years including as a 6 month old puppy. He’s just one of those once in a lifetime dogs.

This year (2008) Hairy’s son Radar with Brenda & Tom Swartz of B&T Griffs produced some lovely puppies, one of which is a champion already and several others are major pointed. Judges are going crazy over Radar’s get in OH!! Another Hairy son, Lance in CA is producing exceptional substance and wonderful conformation.
